Real Humanize review: a 99.2% “Human Score” on a rewrite that changed two phrases

The homepage demo ran once as a guest. The output kept the input almost word for word, changing “Furthermore” to “In addition” and “it is important to note that” to “remember that”, and the page still showed a Human Score of 99.2%. After that one run the demo stayed disabled, so we could not run a second text.

Test 1: input vs output↑ Contents

An AI-written paragraph about AI in education, and exactly what Real Humanize returned. Copy either to check it yourself.

Input109 words
Artificial intelligence has fundamentally transformed the way students approach their academic work. In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, AI-powered tools offer unprecedented opportunities to enhance learning outcomes and streamline research processes. Furthermore, these technologies enable learners to access personalized feedback, identify knowledge gaps, and develop critical thinking skills more efficiently than ever before. However, it is important to note that the integration of AI in education also presents significant challenges, including concerns about academic integrity and over-reliance on automated assistance. Ultimately, striking the right balance between leveraging AI capabilities and fostering independent thought will be crucial for educators and students alike as they navigate this new era of learning.

Findings & screenshots↑ Contents

  • Three of the five sentences came back unchanged, and the other two each changed one phrase. Phrases such as “rapidly evolving digital landscape” and “unprecedented opportunities”, often cited as AI tells, are still in the output.
  • The page nevertheless showed “Human Score 99.2%”, which is also the figure in its “Avg. Human Score” banner. We did not check the text with any outside detector, so this is only what the page says about itself.
  • The meaning is fully preserved and no new errors were introduced; the cost of that is how little changed.
  • After this run the demo’s textarea and button were disabled and the box reverted to a 48-word sample. The page’s FAQ says the live demo is free to try “before signing up”; it does not state a one-run limit.

One run on Oct 21, 2026 by an automated browser, as a guest in the homepage demo on realhumanize.com: the same 109-word education paragraph we use for every humanizer, Standard mode, one run. A second run with our workplace paragraph was attempted but the demo had locked. We recorded the output, the page’s own score and a screenshot; Jamie C. checked the records and wrote this page. Repeat runs of humanizers vary. Full method.

Not tested

  • The second text (the demo locked after one run)
  • Anything after sign-up (we don’t create accounts for tests)
  • Academic and Professional modes (listed under Pro)
  • Repeat runs of the same text
  • Independent detectors (GPTZero, Originality.ai, Copyleaks) run by us on this output
  • Long texts and the 1,000-word free total
  • Other languages (the site offers a language switcher)

Update log

  • First published (test 1 only; the guest demo locked after one run).
