Seeing what Smodin would do to a couple of paragraphs without handing over an email.
Main limit
A guest can’t comfortably read the result on screen. Past the first few sentences it is blurred, and Response 2 is locked.
Free plan facts↑ Contents
| Account needed | No. No sign-up, login or email prompt before the result |
|---|---|
| Minimum input | 1,000 characters. Our 838-character text A alone was refused with “Please enter at least 1000 characters” and produced nothing |
| What we pasted | Texts A and B together (about 1,440 characters, 217 words) to clear the minimum |
| Time to output | Under a second. The page advertises “<5s avg. processing time” |
| Free-guest wall | Response 1 opens; Response 2 is locked and links to pricing. On screen the output is readable only up to “therefore” in the first paragraph; the rest, and every score, is blurred behind a purple “Unlock Full Humanized Text” button |
| Scores | Humanization, Improvement, Human, AI and Words Humanized panels were all blurred. We don’t report numbers here that a guest can’t read |
| Other | A “Detect AI” button sits under the result; a “Midterm Season Special Offer 20% OFF” countdown banner ran across the top |
The output↑ Contents
Our automated browser recorded the full text of Response 1 from the page. A person using the page as a guest would see only the first part of it unblurred. Length: 75 words for the first paragraph and 93 for the second, 168 in all, against 217 in.
AI has changed how students handle academic work. Tools powered by it can support learning and make research faster, while giving students tailored feedback and helping them spot what they do not understand. Used well, they may also strengthen critical thinking. There are drawbacks, though: schools must deal with academic-integrity concerns, and students can become too dependent on automated help. Educators and learners therefore need to use AI capabilities without letting it replace independent thought. Remote teams now have a harder time staying organized and productive as work moves online faster and faster. Modern project management platforms are a natural fit: they keep tasks visible, send reminders automatically, and show dashboards that make status obvious. These features help teams coordinate and move faster. The platforms also make it clear who owns what, which keeps everyone aligned on shared goals. Still, a platform cannot stand in for clear communication or strong leadership. Picking the right one depends on your team's specific needs, budget, and where you are heading long-term.
What changed↑ Contents
| Original | Smodin | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Original: “…personalized feedback, identify knowledge gaps, and develop critical thinking skills more efficiently than ever before.” | Output: “…tailored feedback and helping them spot what they do not understand. Used well, they may also strengthen critical thinking.” | Reworded and hedged. “Used well, they may” softens a claim the original stated flatly. |
| Original: “…the integration of AI in education also presents significant challenges, including concerns about academic integrity and over-reliance…” | Output: “…schools must deal with academic-integrity concerns, and students can become too dependent on automated help.” | Both concerns survived. |
| Original: “…remote teams face unprecedented challenges when it comes to staying organized and productive.” | Output: “Remote teams now have a harder time staying organized and productive as work moves online faster and faster.” | The clause in bold is new; the original gives no reason. |
| Original: “…real-time task tracking, automated reminders, and intuitive dashboards… boost overall efficiency.” | Output: “…keep tasks visible, send reminders automatically, and show dashboards that make status obvious. These features help teams coordinate and move faster.” | “Real-time” is gone; “boost overall efficiency” became “coordinate and move faster”. |
| Original: “…choosing the right solution requires careful consideration of your team’s unique needs, budget, and long-term objectives.” | Output: “Picking the right one depends on your team’s specific needs, budget, and where you are heading long-term.” | Kept all three factors. |
Findings & screenshots↑ Contents
- The rewrite kept the main points of both paragraphs. We found one added reason (“work moves online faster and faster”) and one softened claim (“may also strengthen”).
- It also shortened the text by about a fifth (217 words in, 168 out) and reads plainer: “unprecedented”, “seamless” and “empowers” are gone.
- The free result is readable only in part. The first paragraph cuts off on screen at “therefore” and the rest is blurred.
- The 1,000-character minimum rules out a single short paragraph: our 109-word text A did not run alone.
- We did not check the output with an independent AI detector, so we can’t say whether it would pass one.

Texts A and B are the two AI-written paragraphs we use for every humanizer, pasted one after the other.
Artificial intelligence has fundamentally transformed the way students approach their academic work. In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, AI-powered tools offer unprecedented opportunities to enhance learning outcomes and streamline research processes. Furthermore, these technologies enable learners to access personalized feedback, identify knowledge gaps, and develop critical thinking skills more efficiently than ever before. However, it is important to note that the integration of AI in education also presents significant challenges, including concerns about academic integrity and over-reliance on automated assistance. Ultimately, striking the right balance between leveraging AI capabilities and fostering independent thought will be crucial for educators and students alike as they navigate this new era of learning.
In today's fast-paced digital world, remote teams face unprecedented challenges when it comes to staying organized and productive. Fortunately, modern project management tools offer a seamless solution that empowers teams to collaborate effectively, regardless of location. By leveraging features such as real-time task tracking, automated reminders, and intuitive dashboards, businesses can streamline their workflows and boost overall efficiency. Moreover, these platforms foster transparency and accountability, ensuring that every team member stays aligned with shared goals. However, it is important to note that no tool can replace clear communication and strong leadership. Ultimately, choosing the right solution requires careful consideration of your team's unique needs, budget, and long-term objectives.

Method & updates↑ Contents
On Oct 15, 2026 an automated browser opened smodin.io/ai-humanizer as a guest, kept the defaults and pressed Humanize once. A first attempt with text A alone was refused for length. We recorded the output, the limits and the pop-ups; Jamie C. checked the records and wrote this page. Full method.
Not tested
- Text A and B as separate runs (the minimum blocks A alone; we did not pad it)
- Response 2 and the scores (locked or blurred for guests)
- Independent AI detectors on the output
- The free account, Smodin’s other tools and paid plans (we don’t create accounts for tests)
- How many guest runs per day are allowed: we stopped after one
