Good for
Getting a quick, lightly condensed version of one short paragraph with no account.
Main limit
The guest page has no format or length controls, only a language list, and the output carries stray HTML tags.
Free plan facts↑ Contents
| Account needed | No. We entered no email and created no account. “Sign In” and “Sign Up - It’s Free” sit in the header, and no popup or wall appeared before or after either summary |
|---|---|
| Input limit | The page’s FAQ says “a maximum of 600 words can be summarized at once”. We did not test the cap; our texts are 108 and 109 words |
| Controls | A language list (English was the default). No bullet or paragraph toggle and no length control appeared on the guest page, although the page’s marketing copy describes choosing a format |
| Free usage counter | None shown to guests. The FAQ calls it “free to use”, with “premium options for advanced needs” |
| Time to result | Not measured. The page shows no timer or spinner; the result was there by the next step of the automated run |
| Output format | One paragraph, wrapped in literal “<p>” and “</p>” text, as shown on screen and in the Copy output |

Word counts are the page’s own counters, which matched our manual count of the text between the tags.

- The summaries are light trims, not short digests. Both came back at roughly 70 to 72 percent of the input length. Neither is a one- or two-sentence summary, and the guest page offered no way to ask for one.
- The filler openers were dropped. “In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape”, “Furthermore”, “it is important to note” and “Ultimately” do not appear in either output.
- Some wording was swapped for other wording. “Over-reliance on automated assistance” became “potential over-dependence on technology”. “Regardless of location” became “regardless of geographical barriers”. In our reading the second is a small shift in meaning.
- The HTML tags are part of the output. “<p>” opens and “</p>” closes each summary in the box, and the Copy control copies them too. Pasting into a document would need the tags deleted by hand.
- No wall for two guest runs. We cannot say what happens after more runs.

In today's fast-paced digital world, remote teams face unprecedented challenges when it comes to staying organized and productive. Fortunately, modern project management tools offer a seamless solution that empowers teams to collaborate effectively, regardless of location. By leveraging features such as real-time task tracking, automated reminders, and intuitive dashboards, businesses can streamline their workflows and boost overall efficiency. Moreover, these platforms foster transparency and accountability, ensuring that every team member stays aligned with shared goals. However, it is important to note that no tool can replace clear communication and strong leadership. Ultimately, choosing the right solution requires careful consideration of your team's unique needs, budget, and long-term objectives.

On Nov 3, 2026 an automated browser opened WriterBuddy’s free summarizer as a guest with the default English setting and ran one summary each for texts A and B. Text A was pasted in one piece. For text B, typing timed out and left four stray characters (“ves.”) at the end; the browser deleted them, and the box then read 108 words and ended “long-term objectives.” as intended. Jamie C. checked the records and wrote this page. Full method.
Not tested
- Summary accuracy against a long or technical source: both texts are short, AI-style paragraphs
- The 600-word cap, other languages and repeat runs to find a daily limit
- Whether the tags appear in a logged-in account
- Timing: the page has no timer, so we did not measure speed
- WriterBuddy’s paraphraser, detector, ChatPDF and paid plans
- Anything behind an account
Update log
- First published, from two guest summaries.
